Obituary of Anna Marie Wegeler

Anna Marie Wegeler (nee McMahon), formerly of Basking Ridge, passed away on January 8, 2010 in Timonium, Maryland. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 31, 1917 and had resided at Ridge Oak in Basking Ridge for 22 years. She was employed by Jane Engelhard as her personal assistant for fifteen years. She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. James, St. Anne & Joachim Society and the Leisure Club. For many years she volunteered her services at various organizations including Bonnie Brae and the Matheny School. She will be fondly remembered for knitting her beautiful sweaters for family members and fund raising activities. She is predeceased by her husband, Gustave, and is survived by her two sons, James of Basking Ridge and his wife, Monica, and Robert and his wife, Sharyn, of Fallston, Maryland, six grandchildren, Kristie Ketch, Ryan, Randall, James, Patrick and Sean Wegeler and eight great grandchildren, Ashleigh and Kaitlyn Ketch, Logan, Cameron, Aubrey, Colin, Anna and Jack Wegeler. A Requiem Mass was held on Tuesday, January 12 at St. James Church, Basking Ridge, and interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge.
