Obituary of Ethel M Hyler-Yawger

Ethel Hyler-Yawger, 102, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Green Knoll Nursing Home. She was born in Bernardsville on Oct 22nd 1913 to George Washington Kenny Hyler and Violet Jacquish Hyler, she was the youngest of 13 children. Ethel would have celebrated her 103rd birthday this Saturday, Oct 22nd. She lived most of her life in Bernardsville and was the proud owner of Spruce Up Cleaners located on Olcott Square in Bernardsville. She also worked for many years for Dr. and Mrs. Mastro and Dr. and Mrs. Maronpot of Bernardsville. Ethel raised two children, the Late Jack Reilly and Ms. Lee Yawger Magee of Whitehouse Station. She has 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Ethel was known for her wonderful smile, kind heart and willingness to help everyone. Her love for children and the willingness to take care of them was truly something very special. Anyone that had the opportunity to have her touch their lives were truly blessed. Her friends and family will miss her smile and her gentle ways. She is now one of our guarding angels looking down upon us.
