Obituary of Hua Jung Hsieh

Hua Jung Hsieh, 90, of Basking Ridge, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Anking, China, she immigrated to this country in 1979 with her husband and youngest daughter with the goal of one day uniting her entire family here in the United States.  After many years of hard work with the Wilson family and the Raiffe family (previous owners of Gund Corp.), she was finally able to realize that dream.  She adored her town and loved living in Society Hill where she was admired by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she inspired many and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. She will be remembered for her love of life and people. She is survived by her six children: Hong Ying, Jay, Hong Xia, Shil, Chu, and Mei. Hua was also blessed with 11 grandchildren: Hua, Lin, Nan, Amy, Jim, Kevin, Michael, John, Julie, Christine, and Michelle along with 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 - 11:00 am on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge followed by a graveside service at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge.
