Anthony J D'Amico Obituary
FUNERAL MASS WILL BE HELD IN THE "CHAPEL" OF OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP, 49 BERNARDS AVE, BERNARDSVILLE ON MONDAY JULY 13TH AT 1PM.
Anthony D’Amico passed away at home at the age of 60 on July 6, 2026. Anthony was a 1984 Bernards High School graduate and lived most of his life in Bernardsville.
Following graduation, Anthony learned the trade of painting which blossomed into his career, but his true love was the punk rock scene. His love for the Ramones, coupled with his innate skill of playing bass, led him to become a bassist for The Undead, the drossells and Aslyum 66, where he met life-long friends. Up to his final day on earth, Anthony was planning for a final performance with his old bandmates in the town where he lived most of his life. Although he had a tough exterior, Anthony had a heart of gold and could turn even the most awkward situations into entertainment with his larger-than-life personality and great sense of humor.
Anthony was predeceased by his father, Patrick, and his brother, Patrick Jr. He leaves behind his mother, Olivia, his brother, Michael and wife, Sharon of Bridgewater, his sister, Linda Gaut and husband, David of Bloomsbury, as well as nieces and nephew, Jessica, Nicole and Jon, and Jessica and Nicole’s children, Nicholas, Ava and Francesca. A memorial mass will take place at Sacred Heart Chapel on Bernards Avenue in Bernardsville on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Second to Anthony’s love of music, was his love for animals as was seen from his love for his pets, Ramon, DeeDee and Sid.
Donations can be made to the ASPCA in remembrance honor of Anthony by helping ensure a better life for animals and giving hope to those still in need (aspca.org/donate).
