So sad to hear, we always had great fun, and food, when Joan and Tom came to Park City. Joan set such an example: family, friends and her community. We’re fortunate to know her and will miss her.

Joan was such a bright light in our neighborhood, our town and our community activities. Always with a smile and kind word. We shared rounds of golf, many hours in the kitchen and around the table, trips to Costco, book club, always with so much fun and laughter. Joan was always happy to lend a hand and never complained. What a gift she was in my life and the lives of many others. I will miss her so. Keep heaven laughing, Joan.

To Mary Ellen (Dill) Peters - I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved mother. This is a terribly excruciating time for you and your family, and I pray that you can find some peace in the coming days and months. One thing I am sure of: your mother raised one heck of a daughter, and for that I am thankful to her!

Joan, or Mrs. Dill to me, will be greatly missed. She had an unbelievably upbeat spirit, and her laugh was contagious. She and Mr. Dill were great neighbors to our parents on Pfizer Drive for decades, as were Mary Ellen, Barbara and Steven and various wonderful dogs! She was a big part of all of our lives. It is a comfort to know that she and her beloved husband, Tom, are now together with Ray and Marian, and if there's laughter in heaven, it is raucous! Sending love to all of the Dills, Sharon McCarthy
