Lois Eileen (Frankosky) Johnson, better known to the one’s closest to her as “Dee Dee”, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 2nd, 2026.  She was born in Summit, NJ to her parents Joseph and Mary Frankosky.  Dee Dee was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard “Dicky” Johnson,  Son Alan “Ricky” Johnson and Son in law Howard Forgione.  As well as all of her siblings, Freddy, Charlie, her favorite big brother Stanley, Eddie, her best friend Evelyn, Marion and Joe.  Surviving Dee Dee is her daughter Deborah Forgione; grandchildren Dawn (Jon) Seccamanie, Jason Forgione, Alyssa (Curtis) Forgione - Morgan, Brittany, Richard and Alan Johnson.  Dee Dee was also a cherished Great Grandmother to Taylor, Jayden, Justin, Michaela, Marc and Matthew.  As well as tons of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and son on… Everyone loved their Aunt Dee Dee.

Dee Dee was a graduate of Bernards High School.  She had an accomplished 40 year career at AT&T, where she worked her way up from a switch board operator, to a Senior Project Manager.  Not long after she retired, she came to work with for the Family business with her dear friend and sister in law Toni Frankoski and her brother Stanley.  She worked there for another 25 years with the second and third generations of Frankoski Construction.  She shared all her wisdom of the generations before, and made sure the next generations were giving it 200% every day.  She also made the best sandwiches for lunch and could always be counted on for a smile, hug, or a good laugh at work.  She was extremely proud of her family and would be the first to brag about them all.

Dee Dee will be missed greatly by all that knew her.  She began each day with a grateful heart, and the life lessons and memories she left will always be cherished.
