Sean T. Skeffington, 58, of Lebanon Borough, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on December 28, 2025.

Sean was born in Morristown, New Jersey to Patrick “P.J.” and Moria Skeffington on January 9, 1967. Sean grew up in Basking Ridge, prior to moving to Hunterdon County where he raised his family. Sean had an extensive and successful career in the rare coin, sports card, collectibles and auction industry; he was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, Dayton Flyers Basketball fan and loved watching Freddie Couples play golf. He most importantly enjoyed spending time with his family.

Sean is survived by his two children Noah Skeffington and Jamie Skeffington and their mother Dena Skeffington, of Clinton Township, NJ, his sister Deirdre M. Zamora and her husband Louis Zamora of Bridgewater, NJ, his brother David Skeffington and his wife Nan of Charlotte, NC.

He is also survived by his nephew John Christian Mulhall and his wife Jessica and their daughter Delaney of Hunterdon County, NJ, and his niece Ava Skeffington of Charlotte, NC. He is predeceased by his father Patrick “P.J.” Skeffington, and his mother, Moira Skeffington.

A memorial service will be held at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home in Basking Ridge, NJ, on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Interment of cremains will be held privately at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge, NJ at a later date.
