To the Skeffington family, my heart goes out to you. I’m sorry for your loss. ‘Skeff’ was a neighbor, classmate, teammate and friend. Had lots of fun playing sports with him in high school. Great sense of humor. I often found myself receiving several of his zingers through the high school years. Rest in Holy peace brother

Although I didn’t know Sean for a long length of time, I know he was a great dad to Noah and Jamie and a wonderful brother to Deirdre. I’m so sorry for their sudden lost. It’s crazy. God knows why and he will help Sean’s family get through this most difficult time. I love you guys and I will continue to pray for your strength and endurance through this.

Tough to put into words the sorry, like I lost a brother. From our times in Little League, to trying to get beers at Shea stadium Jets games when we were 10, to a lifetime friendship... thanks for the memories Skeff, will surely be missed. Diedra, Dave & family...soo sorry for your loss, lucky to have had him in our lives. God bless

I first met Sean almost 50 years ago as teammates in Little League (Go Saints!). Known to his friends as “Skeff,” he was part of so many great memories - on the softball field, painting houses, and during a few legendary road trips. Sean’s dry wit and sharp sense of humor always left me smiling. He will be deeply missed.

Skeffington family, it’s hard to believe this is happening but I hope you all lean on each other to get through this difficult time. Some of my favorite memories of childhood involve Sean, either playing back yard baseball, football, trac ball ( if you know you know) and any other outdoor activity. This is how I’ll remember Sean and just know how much he’ll be missed.

Dave, Deirdre and Skeffington Family,
I wanted to wish my condolences to all of you and also share some thoughts and this difficult time. I think of the Skeffington family moving in directly behind us as one of the great blessings of my youth. Having a couple of ready, willing and athletic boys for any sport from Nerf football, driveway basketball (complete with announcers booth) to flashlight tag and anything else we could imagine has provided memories I know we all cherish. Despite the vast age difference, Sean, Billy and I were able to occasionally squeak out a win against the Dave/Bobby juggernaut. Deirdre I think it's safe to now let you know that Sean did occasionally sneak us into your room for some Frampton Comes Alive! on your stereo when you weren't home.
Love to all of you and I'm confident in the fact that Sean is in God's peace.
