Elisabeth K. Salko, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025 at the age of 87.  Born in Germany in 1938, she carried with her a remarkable strength, resilience, and warmth that shaped every chapter of her life.

Lisa was predeceased by her devoted husband, Ron, who passed in 2005, and her cherished daughter, Selma. Though her life held moments of deep loss, she met each challenge with grace and an unwavering love for her family.

She is survived by her loving children: Conny Beam and her husband Dan; Ron Salko and his soulmate, Kate  and Karen Dennis and her husband Mark. Lisa was a proud and devoted grandmother to Dan Beam and wife Samantha, Steve Beam and wife Kirsten, Trevor Dennis and wife Kate, and Mackenzie Dennis and her soulmate Mitchell, and a delighted great-grandmother to Addison and Harper Beam, who brought a special light into her later years.

Those who knew Lisa will remember her unwavering work ethic, her generous spirit, her sense of humor, and the way she made everyone around her feel cared for and truly special. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched in her fifty years of devoted childcare, and in the family, she loved so deeply.

A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held at Basking Ridge Fire Company on December 6, 2025 12:00pm-4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Shriners Hospital, St. Jude, or the Bernardsville Fire Company, in honor of her kindness and compassion.

She will be forever missed and always remembered.
