Jeffrey Robin Strodt, 80, of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on April 6, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York, Jeffrey dedicated his life to protecting and serving others. He worked as a Bernards Township police officer for 25 years, supporting and helping countless people with his patience, kindness, and passion. Beyond his career, Jeffrey enjoyed spending time by the ocean, and cherished time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Diane Strodt; his children, Rob Strodt and his wife Krista Strodt, James Strodt and his wife Sarah, and Dana Strodt; his grandchildren, Reese, Adam, Derek, Liam, Haleema, Julianna and Sophia. He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Strodt.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 4–6 p.m. at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ.
