Alan F Malloy, 68 of Washington, New Jersey passed away on August 9, 2025 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey.

Alan was born in Newark, New Jersey to parents Sylvia and James Malloy on February 1, 1957. He started working with his father where he learned carpentry. He started his own construction company which he ran for over 5 years. He then went to work for Alwards Construction for 10 years. He then went to work for the Union as an Operating Engineer for 25 years. Throughout all of that, he was a dedicated Volunteer Firefighter for the Basking Ridge Fire Department for over 19 years. Alan loved going to the gun range.

He never forgot spending a Saturday night with his friends. He also enjoyed having a good cigar. Our dad was extremely knowledgeable in heavy equipment. Alan is survived by his daughter Amanda Malloy, New Jersey and his son Cory Malloy, Florida.

Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:00am at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, 95 Mount Airy Road, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920.
