Frank DeGhetto, 92, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025.
Born and raised in Bound Brook, New Jersey, Frank proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War aboard the USS Coral Sea. After his military service, he began a long and dedicated career with Public Service Electric & Gas, where he worked for nearly four decades and retired as a Service Supervisor in the Plainfield division.
Frank was a man of simple joys and deep passions—he loved hunting and fishing, cherished a good glass of red wine, and found joy in sharing his culinary talents. He was well-known in his neighborhood for his legendary antipasto platters and pizza rolls, staples of his Christmas tradition that brought friends and family together year after year.
In retirement, Frank and his beloved wife, Rosemarie, spent many joyful years in Naples, Florida before settling in Arizona, where they have lived happily for the past 12 years.
Frank leaves behind Rosemarie, his devoted wife of nearly 70 years; his sons, Martin and Scott; and his treasured grandchildren, Danny, Kaitlyn, Sienna, Jack, and Ellee.
He will be remembered for his generosity, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to his family. His warmth, wit, and signature holiday dishes will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge, NJ on Thursday, July 24 at 11:00 a.m.
