It is with immeasurable sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Philip Vitale this past weekend, at the age of 36. Born on August 29, 1988, Philip spent a majority of his life in New Jersey, also cherishing many happy years living under the Florida sunshine. Philip fell while in his home in Clinton, New Jersey and suffered a head injury that led to his passing. 

Philip was a man defined by his incredibly kind heart and generous spirit. From a young age, he approached life with enthusiasm, consistently excelling in sports, with a particular talent for tennis and baseball. His passion for athletics was evident to all who watched him play.

While Philip faced challenges in his life, we were always proud of his unwavering commitment to bettering himself and his ability to persevere. His strength and resilience in overcoming obstacles were truly inspiring.

Philip was a wonderful son, brother, and uncle, whose presence brought joy and love to his family. Though he was taken from us too soon, we find comfort in the hope that he is now at peace. His loving spirit will be forever cherished and deeply missed by all who knew him.

The family invites friends and loved ones to pay their respects at the viewing on Wednesday, July 9th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home in Basking Ridge. The memorial service will be at the Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home on Thursday at 11:00 AM, repass to follow.
