The Friday service for Ken was touching in its grief, yet hopeful. I was moved by the stories and memories related by Ken's every-widening family -- stories that show him as a skilled craftsman, a source of humor and fun, and a wonderful human being. I knew him only as a very young person, my connections being closer with his parents and sisters; he appears to have grown into they kind of guy I would have loved to know well. This is a tragic loss, but it was clear on Friday that Ken's impact on the world was one of respect, and humor, and love. My great sympathies to his family, defined broadly, and to everyone who knew Ken well.

Very sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. I knew him from 10 years of gigs at the Bamboo Grill / BRCC. Ken, and so many other members, guests, and staff there, made the place feel like a home away from home with great memories and laughs - and I miss them all. Ken always made my after-the-gig burger the best (very true), and we laughed about this or that when the day was through.

Ken was a dear friend of Melissa and I we worked together at Willie’s Taverne back in 90’s. We had a great golf foursome which consisted of Ken, myself, Bill Kimball and Jim Borton that would go to Myrtle Beach and have the time of our lives. Ken was special to Melissa as her chef and a dear friend. Lots of good memories to hold on to but gone way too soon. We will miss him dearly.

My deepest condolences to Ken's family and fiancé. I knew him as Kenny when he was a young boy. He was kind and had a wonderful smile. His energy was so positive and I'm glad he carried that throughout his too-short life. I hope that his lovely spirit forever stays with those who love him.

Peter and I send our condolences to all Kenneth’s family. We only met Ken a couple of times through his loving sister, Cary. He was always so warm and friendly and obviously so loved by all the family. Every Christmas, Cary would share his special Christmas almonds- so delicious.
He will be so missed.
