Felix S. Sebastian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home on Friday April 18, 2025 at the age of 79.
Felix was born in Madras (now Chennai) India on May 20, 1945. He had a thirst for adventure so as a young man he decided to immigrate to America against his parents’ wishes and make a life for himself and his new family in Burlington, MA. He spent his career first as an electrical engineer then VP of Marketing at Megapulse, Inc in Bedford, MA for 37 years. During his career he traveled to a multitude of countries contracting with governments and installing LORAN-C transmitters. When he retired, he and his wife Lily enjoyed cruising around the world. He never settled for anything and was always seeking out more from life.
Throughout his travels, he had a knack for collecting knickknacks. He belonged to many bowling leagues and was a world class bowler in his own mind. Felix loved playing ping pong, gardening, family camping trips, fishing, and watching the Red Sox and Patriots finally kick butt but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Felix was predeceased by his parents Madalai Mary and D.S.P. Savarimuthu and his brother S. Peter. He is survived by his sisters Francis Mary and Rev. Mother Magdalene Mary, devoted wife of 56 years, Philomena "Lily" Sebastian, his loving sons Dr. Cyril (Jayanthi) and Dr. Cliff (Dr. Jodi), and his cherished grandchildren Caitlyn, Felicity, Alexander, Abigail, and Owen as well as his numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews who miss him dearly already.
Even though he did not always like to be the center of attention, his years of love to his family should be honored and celebrated. He was a man of integrity and few words who could relate to people of all ages.
A Visitation will be held on April 24, 5-8pm at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920. A funeral mass will be held on April 25th at 10:00am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 111 Claremont Road, Bernardsville, NJ.
