Jeananne DeRogatis, 67, of Basking Ridge, NJ passed away on April 16, 2025.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. James RC Church on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 11:00am with Father Ariel officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mt. Airy Road, Basking Ridge.

“Jean” was raised in Newark, NJ to Generoso “Gene” and Anne DeRogatis on August 10, 1957.  She attended Sacred Heart Cathedral elementary school, Newark, and then on to Barringer High School graduating in 1975. She went on to earn a business certification from The Katherine Gibbs School. She worked in various administrative and managerial positions at Verizon for 32 years.

Jean loved shopping, the beach, the sun and spending time with close family and friends. She recently discovered the beauty in birds, and particularly the hummingbird, think of her always should you see one.  There are wonderful and cherished memories of the early years growing up in her close-knit Italian family.

Jean is survived by her longtime partner Anthony Zuppa, sister Trish DeRogatis and Maryann Glogiewicz of Basking Ridge, numerous cousins and close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.
