Joseph Anthony Iannelli, 62, of Bernardsville, NJ passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, at Florham Park Rehabilitation and Health Center. He was born in Newark, NJ, the son of M. Theresa (Goduti) Walsh and Joseph F. Iannelli. He was raised in Howell, NJ, and graduated from Howell High School.

Joe worked as an Approved Automotive Repair Network Coordinator at AAA Northeast for the last 17 years, with combined service at the AAA National Office and other Divisions for over 35 years. He enjoyed participating in Car Care Month, which offered members helpful car maintenance advice, and the AAA/Ford Student Auto Skills Competitions involving aspiring students in the Morris County Vocational Technical School Automotive Program.

Joe will always be remembered as a kind, thoughtful man with a sharp sense of humor. He cherished spending time with family and friends, appreciated good food, and was a fan of rock and jazz music, especially Boston and the Moody Blues. Joe cared for dogs and cats over the years, which brought him joy. He loved his family and friends dearly.

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Angela (Imbimbo) Iannelli, and their cat, Mimi, twin sister Theresa (Iannelli) Howell (husband Don Howell), nieces and nephews he adored, mother-in-law Angelina Imbimbo, brother-in-law Charles Imbimbo (wife Josephine Matta), and many other relatives and friends. Joe will be greatly missed. He is predeceased by his parents, step-father Raymond Walsh, brother John Naughton, brother-in-law Dennis Adams, his dogs Susie, Butchie, and Goldie, and cats Mac, Puddin, and Louie.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920. Funeral Mass is on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 111 Claremont Road, Bernardsville, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, 145 Mount Airy Road, Basking Ridge.
