This is a shock to me and very devastating. He was such a nice person. His brother was under my care at the group home. Whenever I asked for something for his brother he would send the money immediately or if I asked him to purchase for his brother, he never hesitated. Mark RIP. I know you’re in heaven. My deepest condolences to the loving family and relatives

I am so saddened by this news. My love and prayers for gentle grief go out to all of you. Markey! We were each other’s first friends being in our moms’ bellies when they first met on Seney Drive. I have so many fond memories of our childhood in the neighborhood and at St.E’s and BHS. I am grateful to have known him - he loved you Laura so much and glowed when telling me about each of your kids at our last interaction. He was so proud. I will always remember the time he arranged a private fire engine ride for my boys when one of them had a medical challenge. He just showed up and gave of his time to bring smiles to my boys faces and let me relive that thrill.
He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace my friend.

In loving memory of a gentle giant, a kind-hearted soul, and a true hero.
Mark was more than just a friend and colleague; he was an example of strength, a source of endless laughter, and a source of compassion. His towering presence was matched only by the depth of his kindness, which touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He had a unique gift for making people laugh and feel cared for, no matter the circumstances.
Professionally, he was a dedicated and respected figure, always striving for excellence and inspiring those around him. But it was his personal touch, his genuine concern for others, that truly set him apart. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and heard, whether through his infectious humor or his thoughtful gestures
On a personal level, he was a cherished friend to me who brought joy and warmth into my life. His soft-spoken candor and subtle and witty humor was infectious, his kindness boundless, and his caring nature a constant source of comfort to me.
His loss is a profound tragedy, one that leaves an irreplaceable void in my heart. Yet, in my grief, I find solace in the memories of his unwavering dedication to his family, friends, and humanity at large. He cherished every moment spent caring for others, and his legacy will continue to inspire me to do the same.
Rest in peace, dear friend. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

The passing of Mark hits home. Growing up across the street at 72 Seney Dr the entire Tamke family were a daily part of many in the neighborhood. It was a neighborhood of the past, an "Our Gang" Little Rascal group of kids. Markey, Walz, Jon, Seamus/Jim, SJT, & the older kids.
I think of the fun we had as kids, and how blessed we were. Rinsey's, the Ogre, building tree forts, the turtle pen, frogs, tad poles, ice skating, the town pool, playing in the pipes, the slam of their front screen door followed by the thumping of some one running on the bridge, Jethro Tull aqualung, can Mark come out and play? He's sitting on "the step ", walking to school, riding bikes, Highview garage, building go carts, kick ball, basketball, baseball, Peter hitting the cover off the balls while we shagged them.
Bike rides to Jockey Hollow, Sherman's, flat rock, building dams, bmx trail, Byrne's swing, climbing trees, raking leaves, shoveling snow, Charlie Chips, lemonade stands, Charleston Chews at Jerolamines, salamanders.
Stick races... can't forget stick races in the stream on rainy days.
I'm saddened by the loss of a great man, and grateful to have had so many childhood memories. The entire Michalowski family send their condolences to you all, and send our love. Coup de grâce, Markey.

I didn't know Mark for a long time, but we worked very closely together for the past eight months. He was one of the people who interviewed me for my current role here at IQVIA and then became my colleague once I joined the team. As a more senior member of our team, Mark welcomed me with open arms and scheduled regular meetings to support me and help me get up to speed in my new role. Mark made me feel valued and appreciated.
Last Friday, Mark and I had our regularly scheduled 1:1 meeting. Rather than talk about work, we spent most of our 30 minutes discussing how excited he was to go to Vermont and spend time with his family. I'm so happy that he and I had that time to chat and share our weekend plans with each other before he left. I will miss Mark very much. My heartfelt condolences go out to his wife, kids, extended family, and friends. God bless.

I had the privilege of working with Mark throughout his time at IQVIA, often closely. He always brought a calming presence, especially during tough times. Mark was the person I could always count on seeing at work, whether for a business chat or just to share a joke. Even last week, we had some laughs about our different habits. Mark's kindness and warmth touched everyone he met. His absence will be deeply felt by all of us who had the honor of knowing him. My heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.

Over the past 8 years working with Mark, I got to know him as a great family man, community man, handy man and an awesome boss. We would talk each week on our one on ones and always end with "so what are you doing this weekend?' We would share our plans which usually meant spending time with the family or working on a home project. In the summer, Mark and I would meet in person for breakfast at a little cafe in Tuckerton by the river. I looked forward to this breakfast each year as we really got quality time to spend together. This one hit hard...Mark will be sorely missed. My heartfelt condolences to the family...share the love that this man brought to all of us.
