The Friday service for Ken was touching in its grief, yet hopeful. I was moved by the stories and memories related by Ken's every-widening family -- stories that show him as a skilled craftsman, a source of humor and fun, and a wonderful human being. I knew him only as a very young person, my connections being closer with his parents and sisters; he appears to have grown into they kind of guy I would have loved to know well. This is a tragic loss, but it was clear on Friday that Ken's impact on the world was one of respect, and humor, and love. My great sympathies to his family, defined broadly, and to everyone who knew Ken well.
