I knew Betty back when we both worked as summer staff at the Word Of Life Conference center at Schroon Lake when we enjoyed many experiences including a trip to Montreal, Canada. (That is where she met her first husband, my cousin, Hans Evans.) We shared experiences in Philadelphia when she was at the School For The Deaf and she helped me with my Master's thesis dealing with sound and deafness in children's motor development in deaf children. I loved her warmness and excitement for life. Betty was an amazingly active lady, interested in organizing all types of educational activities. I know we will have much to talk about when I see her again in heaven.
