Obituary of Josephine DiLorenzo

Josephine Ann (Mondello) DiLorenzo, 83, of Basking Ridge passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, June 20, 2016 at her home. Josephine was born in Morristown, NJ and later moved to Basking Ridge in 1970. She was a parishioner of St. James Church in Basking Ridge. Josephine was a hairdresser for a short while before becoming a homemaker raising her kids which she loved doing the most. She had a passion for cooking and entertaining for family gatherings. It was also very important for Josephine to help other who where in need. Survived by her loving husband Vincent of 62 years. Her four children Donna DiLorenzo of Middlesex, James DiLorenzo of Venice FL, Patrick DiLorenzo of Basking Ridge, and Richard DiLorenzo and wife Kathleen of Basking Ridge. Also survived by a granddaughter Gianna, brother Louis Mondello and wife Nancy, and a sister in law Isabel Mondello, and many nieces and nephews. Josephine is predeceased by her other brother Carl Mondello, Jr. Visitation will be held at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00pm & 6:00 – 8:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. James Church, 184 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge on Friday, June 24, 2016, 10:00am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge.
