Obituary of Agnes H Barry

Agnes H. Barry, 88, of Bernardsville, NJ passed away on April 8, 2015 at Franciscan Oaks Health Care Center, Denville, NJ. She was born on October 21, 1926 in Baltimore, MD, to Webb and Maria (nee Hirst) Levering. She graduated with a degree in economics from Manhattaville College of the Sacred Heart in New York City. She was a homemaker and after her children were grown, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in education from West Chester State College in Pennsylvania. She taught at and retired from the Bernardsville Middle School. She enjoyed European History, Opera and the Steeplechase Races. She is survived by her children, Moira Tressler, Patricia Barry and James Barry, and her brother Anthony A. Levering. She was predeceased by her parents and husband, James P. Barry. Funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 13, 2015 at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Basking Ridge. Burial will be private at a later date.
