Obituary of Albert Edward Ellis

Albert E. Ellis, Jr. He was a wise man because he gave to God, his family, and his fellowmen, the greatest gift of all the gift of love. Always demonstrating in his quiet way that love, generosity, and devotion were the things that gave meaning and joy to his life. As a young man, his ability to organize and plan was apparent. He set goals for his life: A good education: He obtained a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Manhattan College and a Master of Electrical Engineering New York University. A good job: He worked for Bell Telephone Laboratories, Inc. and Bell Communications Research, (Bellcore) where he managed development of software for Military Systems and Telephone Company Operations Support Systems. A family: Married to Christine for 50 years they had three children, Steven, Susan, and Sharon, and seven grandchildren. He loved being a husband, father, and grandfather. Travel and enjoy the things he liked: He was interested in history and travelled extensively all over the world with Christine. His other passions were the theater and music. Although he had many health issues along the way, if any man possessed the knowledge of how to live a good life he had this knowledge.
