E. Haas Gallaway, Jr. is a lifelong resident of the area and son of the Founder of the Business. He is a graduate of Bernards high school in Bernardsville class of 1959 and the McAllister School of embalming in New York City class of 1960. He has held his Practioner of Mortuary Science License in NJ since 1963 and also holds a Funeral Director and Embalmers license in Florida; which he received in 1983. He is the license Manager of both the Funeral Home Locations. In addition, he is a Director of Millington Savings Bank a position he held since 1987. |

R. Michael Gallaway was born and raised in Bernardsville, Graduated from Bernardsville High School class of 1995. Graduated from Monroe Community College with both a Liberal Arts degree in 1998 as well as a Criminal Justice degree in 1999. Michael Attended and graduated from St. Petersburg Junior College Police Academy class of 2001. He worked as a Police Officer for the City of St. Petersburg and the City of Treasure Island, Florida. Michael graduated from Simmons Institute of Funeral Service class of 2007 with a associate degree in Occupational Studies. He is a New Jersey Licensed Funeral Director as of 2008. Michael is also a member of the Congdon-Overlook Masonic Lodge in Bernardsville, NJ and a member of the Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church. |

Bruce Wilber Graduate of Sayreville High School Class of 1956, Started in Funeral Service as an apprentice at Gorny and Gorny Mortuaries in Elizabeth, NJ and went to the American Academy of Funeral Service in New York City. Graduated in March of 1963 and continued in Funeral Service at Worden Funeral Home in Red Bank for several years. Bruce later worked at Day Funeral Home, Keyport for several years before coming to Gallaway and Crane in September of 1983. He has been a director here for the past 25 years and continues to work on a part time basis after retiring in 2008. |

Ronald T Principe Jr. Graduated from Holmdel High School in 2001, Devry University in 2003, and Mercer County Community College in 2008. Ronald is a New Jersey Licensed Funeral Director as of 2009. He is a member of Kids against Cancer, as well as Kids for a Cure. |

Chris Gallaway * was Born and raised in Bernardsville, Graduated from Bernards High School in 1991. Chris was a Past Owner of Tropical Oasis Pool and Spa in Ft. Worth Texas. In 2001, he returned to Bernardsville to work for the family business. Chris was a past President of Kiwanis club 2004-2006 and received the highest award for State Kiwanian, The Carrington Swayne Award. Chris is also a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus and is serving as a second year trustee. He has also served as a Chancellor and first year Trustee. He is a member of the Bernards Township Chamber of Commerce and participates in fund raising and has actively assisted in various community functions. Chris is the Treasurer of the Bernardsville Columbus Club and devotes numerous hours of his time to the Uncommon Thread Autistic School in Stirling. |

Phyllis Anderson * Born and long time resident of Bernardsville, She graduated from Bernards High School Class of 1949 with highest honors in Secretarial and Commercial courses. Phyllis was employed in various occupations, she was the office manager for the late Mayor Michael J Nervine for 17 years, and is presently the office manager for the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home commencing her 20th year. Prior to Gallaway and Crane she was a N.J. State Recording Secretary for the N. J. Business and Professional Women’s Club. Phyllis is presently serving as a Fundraiser Chairperson for the Bernardsville Senior Citizen Center for over 25 Years and is a present member and Clerk of Session of the First Presbyterian Church of Bernardsville. |

Erik Schneider * moved to Basking Ridge in 1999. He graduated from Ridge High School in 2006 and Raritan Valley Community College in 2009. Erik is currently attending Mercer County Community College where he is majoring in Mortuary Science. He is an apprentice at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home. Erik is a member of the Millington Volunteer Fire Company where he is an interior firefighter. He is a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus where he is currently serving his second term as church director. Erik is also a member of the Bernards Township Chamber of Commerce, Bernardsville Chamber of Commerce, and Bernardsville Columbus Club. |
