Funeral Service: Wednesday, February 01, 2012 8:00 PM Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, Basking Ridge, NJ Visitation: Wednesday, February 01, 2012 6-8 at Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, Basking Ridge, NJ BiographyJohn C Grossmann, 63, of Basking Ridge, passed away on Sunday January 29, 2012 at his home.Born in Orange, NJ John was raised in East Hanover, NJ and moved to Basking Ridge in 1974. John worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Local 825 Engineers. He was a member of the Basking Ridge Fire Company, a member of the American Legion and a member of the Armory. John served his country proudly in the U.S Navy in Vietnam War from 1966-1970. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Ardyth, his two sons Jeff and Michael, daughter Amy Kopec, two grandchildren Tyler and Hailey Kopec and his father Clyde Grossmann. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home 101 South Finley, Basking Ridge, NJ on Wednesday February 1, 2012 from 6-8pm followed by a funeral service at 8pm.
