Ottoson, 86, passed away at her residence in Basking Ridge, NJ on August 29, 2010.Born in Staten Island, NY, Myrtle lived in Westfield and Scotch Plains for 39 years before settling in Basking Ridge 14 years ago. She was a member of Westfield's Women's Club. She is survived by her son Robert and his wife Barbara of Westfield, brother John Rasmussen and sister Lillian Pearson. Myrtle is predeceased by her husband of 62 years R. Stanley. She is also predeceased by her son Richard Ottoson and her sister Edith Blattner. A visitation will be held on Friday September 3, 2010 from 4-6 PM at the Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge. A funeral service will be Saturday September 4th at 9AM at the Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 1100 Boulevard, Westfield, NJ.
